Hey i made a idea if this was a real stage. The stage starts in present, the future and past sign posts could show up 30-20 seconds so it changes scenery and maybe the map hazards change. and a generator would be in the past, if you hit it and then go to the future sign post you would go to the good future Credit to El Puducito for the better ideas

sounds cool but I preffer the signs appearing between 20-30 seconds Midgar style, then you go to the future or past, in the past there always will be a generator, if you destroy the generator happens what you said after the next future sign appears. If the future sign appears first you will go to the bad future by default
