I seem to remember there being a scene where it was stated that Vaako had intended to honor the deal, and had given orders for Riddick to be taken to the coordinates of Furya. It was Krone that took it upon himself to betray him instead.

Loved loved loved this couple. They are the Macbeth and Lady Macbeth of this epic. Why Thandie didn't get more kudos for her deliciously evil and seductive character I don't know. Dame Vaako is so clever, so ambitious, so ruthless and so sophisticated, SHE should have been the Lady Marshal. She is imminently quotable. I wonder what happened to her.

So Dame Vaako was played by Thandiwe Newton, and Riddick was played by Vin Diesel. I noticed that you only named Karl Urban (a brilliant actor, by the way); must have been an oversight to forget to name the people playing Vaako’s wife and the person after whom the movie is named 😐
