Oh god, the kid's meal one...I used to have a favorite Diner but it was bought by new owners. I looked over their new menu and most of the food had ingredients I'm allergic to, so I tried to order something off the kids meal, something I actually wasn't allergic to. The waiter got this hesitant look on her face and said she'd have to ask the owner. I really didn't understand why. I was about to. Well, the owner came over and said they couldn't do that because I was an adult. I tried to explain I was trying not to be difficult and just order something I was able to eat because I was allergic to the majority of the menu. Well, she went off on how if she let me do it she'd have to let anyone do it and she'd lose money...and she kept going her voice raised with every sentence. Like I just want to eat without getting sick lady. We left and have never been back. She was worried adults eating off the kids meal would cause her to lose revenue, her attitude did that.
