PARTING:

I begin by braiding a section about a quarter of the way down and then I leave the ends. This is this braiding method all over my head to create the sections.
INSTALL:
Insert the crochet hook into the base of the braid, hook the marley hair onto the hook and pull half of the marley hair all the way through until the braid is anchored in the middle of the hair.
I take one side of the marley hair and begin wrapping it around the base of the braid and the other half of the marley hair. Wrap to the end of the braid.
PRO-TIP: Make sure the marley hair is spread flat (not bunched up) for maximum coverage and keep the hair facing one direction while wrapping (do not twist or roll the hair), and wrap the hair in the same direction you plan on twisting in.
Separate the end of your hair adding it to each side of the marley hair and begin rope twisting.
After twisting about a quarter of the way down, I add a separated strand of the curly hair. Hold the curly hair unevenly as you feed it into the twist.
PRO-TIP: Roll each side of the curly hair with each side of the marley hair until secure then continue twisting.
Twist until you get to the end of the shorter side then take the longer side of the curly out and continue twisting. Once you get to a spot your comfortable with, add another strand of the curly hair and continue twisting. As you get closer to the end, add another strand of the curly hair.
Add as many or as little curly strands as you like. For this style, I didn’t add any curly hair to the very ends of the twists because thy are already very long, so I just added the last piece of curly hair high enough so the ends of the curly hair fall a little lower than the ends of the twists to gives the appearance of the curly ends. I added 3-4 strands of the curly hair to each twist.
I add some of the brand gel to the curls to remove frizz, and snip off the ends of the curly hair that are sticking out from the twist. And that’s it! Feel free to snip curly hair at the bottom if it's a bit too long.
I absolutely love this style!! The twists are very light, as long as you don't completely submerge the hair in water, and t’s not heavy at all. It’s not tight either, you can immediately put it up into a ponytail. This was such an easy install, I would definitely try this style again, it’s a vibe!!
