The reason they brought mimi and papa is because they're not in florida officially for vacation. They're there for Playlist live, where they have a lot of panel talks/meet and greets. So yes they can handle their kids on their own but while they're doing panels and stuff they need someone to watch the kids

I'm not sure if people understand this but going on this "vacation" IS part of their job. It's advertising. The company, in this case TopVillas, reached out to them and offered this stay. Its business deal. Doesn't change the fact that the landings are good people. This just happens to be their life, their job- yes it's not common or easily understood by all but it IS in fact a job.

They're all going for Playlist, DB just decided to make more of a trip. I doubt this is the DBEJCK vacay, as Ellie and Jared aren't bringing Jackson and Calvin (I believe). They are just seeing them at the convention, not for a vacation! Besides, I believe Ellie and Jared said a bit ago that there wasn't any plans for a DBEJCK vacay yet, but that wasn't to say that there wasn't going to be one :)
