What a wondeful video. Congratulations ! I was there in 2003 when 150th Anniversary of Vincent van Gogh's birthday took place there. No hussle, no cars, lots of picturesque cannals and bridges, old buildings, clogs, cheese, mills, tulips, red hair men and women, very tall indeed. All rolled into one- one of the best trips in my life. And Vincent, of course. Thank a lot for uploading this great video.

@OnbekendGHC I LOVE the Netherlands. I think about my last trip to Amsterdam all the time. It was just fantastic. I'm hoping to get back later this year. I miss it (and the wonderful Dutch people)!!!

I really wanted to get a good view of what it was like to *actually* be in Amsterdam from a regular person's point of view - your video had some AWESOME footage and showed realistic scenes of it. That place is freaking beautiful. I can't wait to go myself.

@NLjordanNL I had a look at your dad's restaurant's website. It looks *very* fancy. People dressed in formal gowns and tuxedos. It looks beautiful and a very nice menu. Next time I'm in Haarlem I'll stop in and order the kogelbiefstuk. Haarlem was beautiful and the Netherlands is an absolutely wonderful country. You`re so lucky to live in the Netherlands. It`s been nearly two years since my last visit. I have good friends who work at the Van Gogh Museum. I miss Holland so much . . . .

Thanks for the comment! Amsterdam is out of this world. I love it there. I returned this past April (no video, though) and will be going again next month. I can never get enough of that beautiful city.

@NLjordanNL I hope that you have a great time in Canada! I wanted to impress you by telling you the name of your father's restaurant. I found it on Google Streets. Unfortunately the day Google filmed this square, it was the day of the market and the car with the Google Street camera couldn't get past all the vendors. I can see your father's restaurant on Google Streets, but can't get close enough to see the name. Four doors to the left of your father's restaurant is a McDonald's, right?
