Do you use a vet for all your needling or do you do some of it yourselves? Up here in Saskatchewan Canada this work is done by the rancher and his workers themselves. The only thing that a vet is used for is preg checking and major health problems. As for the use of growth implants we shall agree to disagree. If I owned cattle I would never use them no matter how much they are touted by the people who sell the drugs.

M.A. Hartsfield I don't typically think of myself as an animal rights activist but I was wondering if there was a less stressful way to do this. I guess this is the standard practice?

WoodysGamertag This is actually pretty stress free. They put on a good show, but in one of the shots you'll see that the girls are immediately back to chewing their cud! The restraints are in place for their safety, as well as our own. Thanks for watching!
