The Tribal Vaccine Equity Project, administered by the Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan, provides tribes, tribal health centers and other tribal serving community partners training, technical assistance and monetary awards to support local vaccination efforts and address vaccine hesitancy.
As Native people, our traditions gift us many strengths, like taking care of each other. Today we can all protect ourselves, our families, and our most vulnerable by getting vaccinated. To help American Indian and Alaska Native adults in making informed decisions about vaccination, staff from Tribal Epidemiology Centers, trusted Elders, and Native health professionals collaborated to develop VacciNative, a campaign dedicated to creating accurate vaccine information for Native people by Native people. This webinar will provide an overview of the VacciNative campaign materials that can assist you in having effective vaccine conversations with your patients.
