Many 75 y.o. and above are just not that computer savvy. Fortunately now in Florida it is pretty easy to go online at Publix.com and Walmart and book an appointment. The Publix at Federal and Oakland Park Blvd gives you choice of all three! In the Orlando area, recently there has been a glut of the vaccine.

When it comes to this sketch I'd beat all of these 'contestants' because I'm only 67 ( creak, creak! ) and a smoker and managed to sort out my appointment both through text messages and online at my local G.P. office without any problems. Of course I don't live in the U.S. but in England and all of these services including the vaccines themselves are provided to the entire U.K. population free of charge. I even managed to test myself at home just a few weeks ago free of charge and the test results came back negative.

I forgot to mention in my earlier comment that this upcoming first dose of the vaccine is the second appointment that I've had to make and I should've received it last Wednesday, the 24th February, but had to reschedule it because of unforeseen circumstances and I had to stay at home throughout the entire day. By the way, if you ever see any of us Brits referring to our local G.P.'s then it means that we're referring to our local General Practitioners, i.e. our doctors, who we all choose to have and they're not selected by anyone other than ourselves - most especially not by any Government or our N.H.S. here in the U.K. or private medical insurance companies that we happen to be with as is obviously the case in the U.S., isn't it? More often than not the only time that we change G.P. is when we move to a new address and can't be arsed to travel - personally speaking I've been with my G.P. since I moved to my current address in early 2016 and I've only ever met her once. The reason for this is because she has a lot of patients which makes it almost impossible for me to see her when I choose to....if she's not available then I have the option of seeing one of her many partners or locum G.P.'s who are equally as qualified and professional as she is. :-)

I'm a pharmacist and it is sad but this is spot on. The system failed the elderly by making vaccine appointments initially only online. Fortunately more pharmacies are realizing this and incorporating more user friendly and live person options. The main issue now is we just do not have enough vaccine to go around.

@@drboze6781 , I remember many years ago going to visit my local G.P. in Hulme, Manchester, England and he was sat at his desk smoking a cigarette prior to checking me over and giving me my prescriptions. It was something akin to me entering an alternative universe and it also reminded me of that very old saying of ' Physician heal thyself '. The only thing that really surprised me about that particular appointment was that he knew that I too was a smoker and that he didn't offer me one of his ciggies prior to me leaving his office. He retired some years afterwards and I doubt very much if he stopped smoking even after his retirement.

In WA, each day at 2 PM, links go live, any even then by the time, you select any that claims to have has open slots the are gone at the site providing them. It is a total disaster! Most places are open 1 or 2 days a week since they run out of that week supply that quickly. They just opened a J&J site. It filled immediately.
