5:20 (There is not water in your build :)) this isn't water vapor, its oil mist from the vacuum pump exhaust. Its very unhealthy indoors. This aerosol is very fine and needs a good exhaust filter that works.

Hyper Hektor but there is water in the air. And boiling point of water decreases as vacuum increases. So it is possible that it is water vapour.

Miguel Torres aluminum base with a delrin top would work very well for this. When the top wears down toss it and cut another.

Es ist POM. Alternativ wäre auch Hart-PVC sehr gut geeignet (etwas billiger, dafür nicht so alterungsbeständig).

I was just about to ask! I love POM, it might be the material i mill in the most, its perfect for so many things, and its really soft to cut into, even tho its very hard by itself. For example, i also work with chain hoist, for lifting equipment, and the hoist range from 500kg to 4000kg, and to protect the chain from curling when raising or lowering, i have designed a plate of pom, to force the chain in the right angle, without damaging it. I use POM for a electrical cabinets too, you just need a special kind, that is flame exhausting. Its a versatile and great material!

Alex Venter A decent 1hp rotary vane should support a 24 x 18 table if cavity is machined appropriately. You wouldn't want it wide open like his and channel it instead.
