i really like the style of the rockets, so i did some research and found the shark rocket deluxe pro was my favorite for a reasonable price. i just ordered one for $160 and they sent me a cheaper model that i could have bought for $130. it showed the right model number on the box, so i assumed if i tried to exchange it they'd just send me that rocket pro plus again instead of the deluxe pro i wanted. now i think i might just get the lift away deluxe at target. it's on sale for $160 right now. i didn't really care about the hepa filter because filters that need replaced are just a hassle, and the rockets just have foam filters you can wash off with water. i saw some comments saying you can wash off the hepa filters with water too, any of you know if that's true? i thought hepa filters were more touchy and you just had to use them until they need replaced.

as a vacuum mechanic, i agree with this video. to most people who need a budget vacuum cleaner i would tell them to get a NV300 family (as i call them). However, i have noticed that the plastic on the NV352 tends to be a little more brittle that the other two. that being said, it is still way stronger that the plastic on Dysons. after several years that plastic turns to dust if you touch it wrong.
@zin6749 Жыл бұрын
I can absolutely attest to this. My mother bought a Dyson V10 cordless vacuum two years ago, and with the poor quality plastic combined with the Dyson's signature feature of kamikazeing itself onto whatever is beneath of it, the plastic has not held up whatsoever.

I have the purple NV352, it works fantastic and it has actually helped me with my severe allergies when vacuuming. I used to have a Bissell, it was a good vacuum, it picked up well with our pets. But I always had sneezing fits. Once my mom's Shark died after 7 years or so, I went vacuum shopping with her at Walmart. Ironically, we found 2 brand new for only 30 each on clearance so they could make way for the new models. So I decided I was going to get a shark as well! The thing is solid, but light. It is great to maneuver and it picks up so extremely well. Plus, it has a lot of features that the Bissell didn't have such as automatic floor leveling, no belt on the brush roll, a switch to turn off the brush when on hard floors, and a much better filtration system. I'm sold on the shark brand. They seem to be very reliable in this era of throw away appliances. My mom's lasted for 7 years of weekly use, that isn't a small feat in a house full of pets.

We've had a Shark Professional for years that replaced our Dyson. Same sucking power, but the Shark goes into tighter spaces. Things I hate about the Shark: 1. Power cord way low on the machine. I'm always stepping on it. If you drop the cord, you have to bend way over to pick it up. 2. Awkward plastic handle. When you pull the hose out to get cobwebs on the ceiling, that bend in the handle gets in the way. 3. Top heavy. It doesn't take much to knock it over. 4. Front exhaust port ricochets hot air off the walls and in your face when vacuuming in a tight space. 5. Clamps onto small area rugs if you go over them. 6. The dog absolutely hates it and tries to attack it when in use.

My 20+ year-old Hoover wind tunnel cannister was still going strong when I noticed that the two small wheels and axles in the head were gone. I didn't want to spend $$$ on a vacuum and I was desperately needing one, since my current home (all faux hardwood) hadn't been swept in a long time, and the one I am getting ready to move into is all carpet! I was going to look at getting replacement parts, but as I picked the cannister up, the dust collector fell out of the backside and broke! Well, so much for that... A quick google search for "recommended vacuums" brought me to consumer reports, but their choices were not even close to what I was thinking. Later on in the day, I went back to searching, and I noticed Tom's Hardware Guide (a site I am familiar with), and a list of vacuums. I usually take these lists very lightly because they aren't testing anything like this and are just reading the script from the manufacturer's and (fake?) reviews on amaboob. One of the first ones listed was the NV352 and so I clicked the link to go to amaboob's website and watched the videos there. Of course, the first three weren't helpful, the first two being from shark, with crappy "music" playing and very little of the actual machine, while the third (like many others on here), don't really get technical and all they do is throw a few crumbs on the floor and act like it's the Second Coming. But then Vacuum Wars' video popped up, and, were I to wear one, I would tip my hat to you, sir. Your video was exactly what I needed and now I can confidentially, though still reluctantly (because I hate having to spend money at this time), purchase the NV352, knowing that it actually works, though I don't really like the color, lol! So, probably an odd and lengthy post over a vacuum cleaner, but I felt it was worthwhile to write to let you know that your channel has had a real and positive impact on a viewer...and new subscriber.

I love sharks but I find that the maneuverability, like the swivel steering, isn't very good. It doesn't turn, it more points in a weird way, compared to other sharks and even Dysons. The hose on the side makes it to be very inefficient at cleaning because the other side doesnt get much power on hard floors, the hose also doesnt allow for under furniture cleaning like couches and such. Also the hose design imo is not very good. Its not strechy, can cause the vacuum to fall over, has multiple swivel points which are very useless in making the hose only act in a certain way and direction. I believe that the Zero-M navigator lift away is a much better vacuum.

Funny you should say that- my butler was using a bad vac in my white limo and now the tires look cleaner than the floors.

My personal chauffeur used a vacuum so bad, my ears were ringing from 2 floors away afterwards. 😁

I still want one of them, but I'm on a very tight budget and my parents don't want me getting one.

Can you do a test on the iconic Hoover Convertible?

My local Walmart has a Shark Navigator NV351 on clearance. Is that the same as the NV352? 🤔
@VacuumWars3 жыл бұрын
The brush rolls are apparently different, and the NV352 may include an additional attachment. I haven't looked at the NV351 myself - so be sure to read the fine print on them both. I just know they aren't exactly the same.
