Diffferences: -No intro -The story begins differently than the normal pvz3, as the tutorial was supposed to be crazy dave's dream + dave's niece was supposed to come back from the trip and not go to the trip -Peashooter costs 3 sun instead of 4 -You can evolve plants with tacos -Plant's heath bar appear on the screen -The power-up fertilizer is now used as a special attack you can use whenever a evolved plant charges up its energy -"LAWN CLEARED!!" Does not appear in the ending of levels anymore -Different menu icons -Different plants -You can unlock other plants by using bloomboost on the menu -There's a map of levels you can choose -They teach you how to use the shovel (they didnt originally do that in the normal game) -You can buy plants with purple coins at Summer's shop -CYS improved in this version -Apparently, you can unlock other worlds to play too -There's a mailbox (i dont remember having that before) Disclaimer: there are probably much more differences that i didnt state

Don't pretend international is much better Also , PVZ 2 china has A LOT of P2W stuff but it's completely possible to get level 5 plants by yourself without spending anything , it just takes time Level 5 peashooter is unironically one of the best plants in the game , not joking , and you get it for 100% free ...it takes a long time sure , but it's free You get electric blueberry to level 4 for free Primal sunflower for level 4 for free again , one of the best sun producers Really , china has a reputation for the micro transactions , but the game is almost fully playable without them Only the most unfair of unfair gamemodes need em sadly , and while that is a problem , all you need is time , the Chinese version still gives you stuff to upgrade basically daily
