Great video. The behind the scene shots were really interesting, but I guess I'm most envious of how people are casually playing go in a park. I'd love to have something like that here as well.

Vadim, thank you so much for this vlog. It’s amazing. I was watching and didn’t even notice how time flew by. Such immersion, the atmosphere is incredible. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. You must have had an incredible time there!

Nice to see videos like this, especially behind the scenes of BadukTV. Would've been great to see more interactions with the players haha

What a fantastic video! The BadukTV room looked strangely small. And I respectfully refuse to believe SJS "walked out like a normal person". He must have flown out on a dragon or something equally epic.

Ok, actually, he summoned a celestial Go board and floated away in style. 😉

Awesome vlog! It's so nice to see go content that's not just games, and game reviews. I know all of us like to do some go tourism when ever we visit a new place :)

Glad you had an awesome trip! There are so many parks like Democracy park in Busan where you can find people people playing all the time. A very lucky find, and it makes me happy to see someone discover this hidden aspect of Korean culture. It's the old men who play in the parks who inspired me to find this channel and learn how to play

I'd be very interested in an episode or two about handicap go. How to play as either side? I find myself often baffled as black.
@GoMagic12 сағат бұрын
At some point we’ll definitely consider creating an episode or two to explore strategies for both sides. Thanks for the suggestion!

Looks like an amazing trip! Especially that public park where people are playing free. Has anyone heard of a similar park in Japan? Living in Tokyo, the only places i know of are all pay to enter and play, which I gladly do, but it would also be great to know of public parks where people play if they exist.

Your trip sounds fantastic! Someday, Vadim will definitely make his way to Japan and explore the local Go culture there-public parks, cozy salons, and everything in between.

I'd love to see more Vlogs about local Go culture. Of course the Baduk Association and world of pros is interesting, but maybe even more just the regular korean amateur Go players, who play for fun. There's lots of Vlogs of people playing chess in the park in New York, but it's the first time I've seen something like this for Go.

Vadim would love to be on the road all the time, exploring the local Go scenes everywhere-but we need him in the studio too! 😄🎥 Maybe one day we’ll figure out how to clone him so he can do both at once. 😉 Thanks for the support and the great idea!

I went to that same kiwon when i visited busan a few weeks ago. They had a computer set up in the corner, though. I played about 4 games. They didn't really want to play with me, though, cause im too weak. Pushed me over to the computer and had me play a game on their computer..... i was like "i came here to play in person, i can play online anytime i want".
