I don't collect Mafex, because I am poor, but I saw another KZbinr use ML Jean Greys head on the Mafex figure, and it looked fantastic! So that's what I am going to do. Nice custom figure by the way.

Jubilee xmen 97 figure has good head sculpts and yellow gloves already but i don't own her. The baf figure of her is my fav. I also have the other jubilees gave them blast effects new head sculpts clothes etc which honestly made the figures 100% better. I started building the team about a year before the show revived but admit iv gone a bit overboard collecting every team member past and present then customized them with Sunfire looking dope next to iceman. I believe Havoc was the last one i bought or was it 2 pack juggernaut Colossus. I figured if i was going to build the team why half step. Morph and Cyclops in their custom leather jackets man it looks great. Dropped at least 3 grand collecting everyone best money i ever spent. One thing i need to work on is a teleport effect for nightcrawler but im to lazy to make light up purple cotton display. Iv run out of wall room and its finally time to take a step back and just gawk which i do constantly always wondering how can i make it better. One thing that bothers me the most is my Forge has no robot hand which iv been trying to find one for forever. Warpath needs a lot of work but im still debating if i should turn him into Thunder bird. DESCIONS DESCIONS. Let me know in the comment section if you consider Emma frost and Deadpool as Xmen.

Fantastic customs! You got a new subscriber. I never painted, but I definitely want to check out your other videos now. Rogue and Gambit are flawless. I also decided to use the original Caliban body. I unfortunately don't have a cloth trench coat though. And my thoughts exactly about the 3-pack head. It's good, but it makes Gambit look old and disgruntled, which is not the charming smooth character I imagine. Many collectors complained about the color of 97 Cyclop's visor. I wonder if it would be good to match the yellows. Jubillee is beautiful. Can't even look at my original one now. Beast head is a bit goofy for my taste. And Storm's cape feels a bit too thick/heavy. But that's simply my personal taste. FANTASTIC customs. Thanks for sharing. Excited to watch more of your videos.

Awesome! I got my Caliban wave Jubilee a few days ago but really don't like the way the face looks, have been looking all over for a custom head or something. Had the idea to use the Overwatch Ultimates Tracer head, but need to make the gap in the head bigger so it fits Jubilee's ball joint. I was wondering if that's something you could have a go at and show me how the head looks on Jubilee? I feel it's better proportioned than the official head!

I had the same feeling about Jean Grey's lips and wanted to do the same thing. Did you have to use a flesh colored paint to decrease the size of them? If so can you share what flesh paint you used because I'm horrible at paint matching. If you could also share the colors you used for he lips that would be helpful as well. I'd like to attempt this same fixup. Thanks!

I used nail polish remover to get rid of the lip paint. As for the paint itself it’s a mix of Vallejo red, cadian fleshtone, and a tiny bit of white. Be careful when using nail polish remover though and make sure it’s acetone free!

@@VADtoys Thank you. Your tutorials are massively helpful. I need to get me some cadian fleshtone. Seems it's a great base tone to use. Good to know that the plastic is tinted in the skin tone color so i won have to color match that..

Mafex is cool until You find that Magneto, Superman, Batman &Cyclops share the same body...btw. The harness in cyke is Nice.

Ok great customs, some advice or tips to push the figures a lil further, 1. Wolverine- order chrome paint markers and do up his claws instant improvement and just POPS. 2. JEAN- if you touch up her hair at all make sure to paint the tiny forehead skin that is originally painted blue from the mask. 3. Nightcrawler needs to most if you feel comfortable doing the custom but it absolutely a game changer, buy a cheap Kid Omega strip the paint and swap the arms and legs from Nightcrawler also peel the vest and sand it to lay flush on new body, sand belly and back to make painting super easy with no rub, here's the best part, get a old Toybiz Nightcrawler and pop the feet off and on the new body, drill a hole for tail and done, takes all of hr or so. 4. Gambit- if your fine with that body ok but using a Black symbiote Spiderman stripped paint works like a charm, but if the regular one works too there are some details about his suit that need touching up, the boots, belt, and trimming on the neck armor should be baby blue metallic and the stripes on the legs should be just long enough to almost reach the center of the thigh, cut the cards from the throwing hand and glue them together for a 3card fan, strip the card throwing hand of paint and excess plastic and you have a powered up translucent hand. Seems like a lot but from your video you already know these methods I assume, still worth trying especially the Nightcrawler.

Have you thought about hitting these figs with some clear matt. I saw earlier today that XMen 97 lost Disney money, so we probably won't be getting another season, unless its already done. I really liked it.
