touch screens instead of buttons are not super cool as you state, they distract a lot, its a terrible direction of the current auto industry

I can say I agree. Whether they distract or not, my opinion is that it looks nice.

Also touch screen are bad if someone is using gloves, especially in the wintertime and unfortunately they are terrible if someone has "work used/tired hands" like construction workers, .. believe it or not also including myself, touchscreen control climate was the reason why I didn't get particular car,
