Vaganova level 7 all the jumps, year 1998. Class of Zubkovskaya.

Sharing all the jumps from my exam, level 7 in Vaganova Ballet Academy. I always loved big jumps though and in the last three levels it becomes more fun to perform. Our teacher was Inna Zubkovskaya.

Удивительно, как по-разному чувствуют музыку. Я слушаю впервые и лучше девочек знаю где какое па. Две девочки в музыку хорошо попадали, но не на всех фигурах, это дело техники. У двух точно чувство музыки идеальное. Вообще, элементы, конечно, сложные очень. Русский балет потому и лучший в мире - филигранные мастера!

Пианист обычно подстраивается под кого-то одного во время движений, темп всегда меняется. Особенно во время прыжков. Мы на экзамене старались прыгнуть повыше, показать, как можем, а иногда пианист подстраивалась под того, кто прыгает быстрее, а иногда под того, кто медленнее.

If I'm not mistaken, there are 2 different ways. I believe this way is called attitude derriere. It's the Russian way lol. I apologize that I don't recall the other. I was taught the same as you were. Derriere is a higher level of difficultly.

This is true if your leg is 90 degrees or lower but as the leg is lifted the same integrity of the motion is maintained but it is impossible to keep the knee above. That is taught for the sake of turnout and proper placement but is not the end goal. This is for vaganova technique, the other techniques have different methods of attitude.

@@bodyofhope derriere means to the back, it has nothing to do with difficulty level, ad it's not the "Russian way". There are two kinds of attitude, you are correct in that, but the kinds are devont and derriere, meaning to the front and to the back.
