शेवग्याच्या शेंगा खाणे आरोग्यासाठी खूप फायदेशीर असते. शेवग्यामध्ये व्हिटॅमिस, लोह, कॅल्शियम,मिनरल्स आणि प्रोटिन्स मोठ्या प्रमाणात आढळतात. शेवग्याच्या शेंगा खाल्ल्यास शरीरातील रक्ताचे प्रमाण वाढते. तसेच शेंगेत लोहाचे प्रमाण मोठ्या प्रमाणात असते.
INGREDIENTS :
1/2 kg Drumsticks, cut into small pieces
Ginger Garlic paste
1 sprig Curry Leaves
1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
1teaspoon Mustard Seeds
Pinch of hing
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1 1/2 tablespoon Red Chilli Powder (adjust accordingly)
1/2 tablespoon Garam Masala Powder
3/4 tablespoon coriander powder
Salt as per taste
3 tablespoon Oil
Chopped Coriander
4 tbsp or 1/2 cup
jaggery powder

METHOD :
STEP 1 - Wash and cut the drumsticks into small pieces.
STEP 2 - Remove the threads with the help of knife.
STEP 3 - Now in a wok, add 1 glass water with a pinch of salt. Add drumsticks in it and cover it.
STEP 4 - Cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes or until soft and tender. You can check if the drumsticks are cooked or not by pressing one piece in between your thumb and forefinger.
STEP 5 - Heat oil in a wide kadai.
STEP 6 - Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let them crackle. Add ginger garlic paste
STEP 6- Add curry leaves and roast for few seconds. Add coriander leaves
STEP 7- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, Cook for 30 seconds.
STEP 8 - Add cooked drumsticks and mix well
Now add jaggery powder & imli / imli chutney
Mix it well
STEP 9 - Cover it and cook for around 5-7 minutes.
STEP 17 - Switch off the flame and garnish with some chopped coriander and ready to serve.
Serve it with roti, chapati or bhakari and enjoy.
NOTES : * We are going to add salt while cooking drumsticks, so adjust and add salt according to your taste
