I am a BAMS student. My humble request to NEET aspirants is that join any course only after proper analysis of situations. BAMS is totally a sanskrit based course and here you have to mug up hundreds of sanskrit shlokas in different subjects like Samhitha, Kriya Shareera, Rachana Shareera etc, etc. Many join this course Without understanding above facts and struggle later. So if you are interested in Sanskrit and to mug up slokas during all the course period then only join BAMS. Otherwise join English based medical courses like BVSc, BHMS, BDS etc( equal to or more Scope than BAMS) Unless you get a MBBS seat....

BA MS medical officer exam is conducted by state public service Commission.. Each year no exam. Psc calls for depending on vaccancies in Ayurveda department etc....... Rank list is published and candidates are alloted from the Rank list. In Kerala the rank list is generally valid for 3 years. After the expiry of rank list PSC will call for applications again. The upper age limit for psc exams in Kerala is 40 for this category. I don't know the process in other states. Please search in NET
