Today is Vaikunth Ekadashi. Only on this Ekadashi the Vaikunth doors/dwar is open for everyone which remain closed the whole year. According to Padma Puran Lord Vishnu fought a demon called Muran. To take some rest & to create a new weapon Lord Vishnu went to a cave & while He was resting the Demon tried to kill him. The energy of a female emanated from Him & killed the demon instead. Lord Vishnu was impressed by this energy & named her Ekadashi. A boon was granted to her as anyone who fasts on this day will attain moksha or will go to heaven. Those who wish to begin fasting for Ekadashi should do so from this day onwards. This is also known as BHEESHAM EKADASHI. BHEESHMA PITAMAH WAITED FOR THIS DAY TO DIE. Visiting temple & having darshan of Bhagwan is a must, especially for those going through strenuous times 🙏🙏🙏
