Vaillant EcoMax Hot Water & Heating Not Getting Hot. Blocked Pipe Causing the Problem.

Hi, how do you drain down the boiler prior to removing that pipe?

Hi how about f23 on a vaillant 843 combi I’ve had it flushed twice I still get f23 on hot water and when heating is in boiler is 2 years old also had a new pump

Help mark, my boiler is a glow worm, it keeps flashing 0.0. Iv tried resetting an topping up but keeps going back to 0.0, no heating or hot water 😔

If you're topping it up and you can hear water going in, if the pressure risers then drops straight away you have a big leak. If you can't here water going in maybe the values are not oper or opening properly

Hi Mark I've watching your videos for awhile & learning a lot. Can I ask you question about my Vaillant ecoTEC plus 837 no one is able to pin point the fault. Hot water working fine, no heat to the radiator no fault codes. What happens the heating on the display on the boiler shows the temperature quickly shoots up to 84c then the boiler turns off until it cools down then kicks back in again. The pipe from the exchanger is red hot the return stays cold. British gas have been out today carried out his checks, telling me my pump is getting hot and not pushing the water enough to go round the system, he replaced the pump £210 £99. labour it's still the same now he is saying the heat exchanger is blocked I think he is just guessing. Any clues.

Just confirming we are talking about combi. If so the boiler works exactly the same for central heating as it does for hot water. So if hot water is working the only reason the heating should not work is there a something stopping it from a circulating around at your central heating system as the temperature rises really quickly shows that the central heating is working fine. Does the diverter valve move backwards and forwards in the boiler pretty simple to check that watch my video on grease the spindle on the diverter valve

@@MarkBallardLTDHeatingEngineer Hi Mark thank you so much for coming back to me much appreciated. yes it is a combi boiler I said this to the British gas engineer about the diverter valve he said it's working fine because if it was not working I would be sending heat down the small 15mm cooper. I have watched your video on the diverter I will watch it again. Thank you again Mark.

@@MarkBallardLTDHeatingEngineer mark you are brilliant watched the video on the diverter valve 5 minutes got the central heating working. You have just saved me £3000 cancelled my order with British Gas for a new boiler. If you live near Birmingham I would take you out for lunch 🥗
