In Vajra the lightening supposed to be emerge from the central rod. Similar to single lightening bolt as a spear.

well its just an ancient hypersonic kinetic impactor essentially a bullet assembly of a railgun. the closed shape = kept inside the quadrail assembly to be fired when ready. open shape = the conductive sabots joined by a eutectic alloy seperate from the central active projectile. diamond = can survive 10x speed of sound and its prismatic shape as the ideal shape which works in hypersonic aerodynamics.

the Vajra is a thunderbolt of the gods zeus threw them so did cronos and mars and venus all threw them at one another and at the earth the open and closed Vajra are the thunderbolts of the gods ancient indians saw the thunderbolt hit north america from across the pacific ocean some of that discharge came close to inda as well plasma will pinch by magnetic forces if the lvl of power/energy contained in the thunderbolt is lower u will have open ends if its high then the ends will be closed
