Val also got an RV. It's a Jayco Jay Feather Micro 166 FBS. We are going to be a camping family this year and we are all excited about it!

I am assuming you will both take yours at the same time when you go on trips, right? Or will you take one at a time? Or maybe it will depend on what's going on, huh? So happy for y’all! We are a camping family too! We leave our camper packed and ready and hit the road whenever we can. One of my go to breakfasts when it is rainy or we have a busy morning planned, is crock pot french toast. You start it the night before and when you wake up, breakfast is ready. It makes the camper smell wonderful too! If the weather is nice, I am cooking outside!

So husband and I are selling our getaway place and are looking at getting a camper so we can go camping. We’ve done this in the past but it’s been a while. We also own a ton of land where we can put it and hook it up and camp there. May I ask did you buy this new and what was your price range. We’re trying to figure out exactly what we want and with our family growing grandchildren wise we want something big enough but not too big.

Tamale Pie Cast Iron * 1 box JIFFY corn muffin mix * 1 egg * 1/2 c. sour cream * 1/2 c. creamed corn * 1/3 c. red enchilada sauce * 1 onion, chopped * 2 cloves garlic, minced * 1 tsp. cumin * 1 tsp. chili powder * 1 lb. ground beef * 1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded * 1 c. Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded * small handful cilantro leaves, chopped (optional) * kosher salt * ground pepper DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 2. Prepare cornbread base. In a medium bowl, combine corn muffin mix, sour cream, creamed corn and egg. Whisk until evenly combined. Pour into a large cast iron skillet and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown on top. Let cool slightly in pan. 3. Meanwhile, make your taco meat. Sauté onions over medium heat. Season with salt, pepper and spices and cook until soft. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the ground beef and stir to break up meat. Season to taste and sauté until cooked through. Remove skillet from stovetop and drain excess fat. 4. Poke entire surface of cornbread with a fork. Pour enchilada sauce over the cornbread. Add the meat mixture and top with shredded cheese. Cover with foil and bake until the cheese is melted, about 20 minutes. Remove foil and broil until cheese begins to brown, about 5 minutes. 5. Top with cilantro, if desired. Hope ya’ll enjoy this so easy and delicious! Perfect for camping.

That's awesome!! I've been living in a camper for coming up on a year now. I am currently renting it. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't so old and leaky. Lol it has 1 slide out and that's where the worst leak is. I was wondering, did they give you a good deal because you got 2 of them? They should've. I was looking at that same model but they wanted 36,000. Needless to say, im still shopping. Lol Happy Camping Ladies!!! BTW, camping content is gonna be awesome!!! Can't wait!!!

@Autistic Interpretations yours is perfect!!! I really am excited for you gals! I only asked about a deal on buying 2 because currently I'm having to live with my 29 year old son. He's also special needs. He tried adulting once. Big mistake at that time. It was 3 years ago. He's very stubborn and believes he's a professional at everything, I mean everything. That's how his brain functions. He was deprived of oxygen and they had to do an emergency C Section at almost 32 weeks. Needless to say, he had a rough start. Im hoping he will be able to manage one day. Although giving him his own camper close to mine, could be a huge help in him achieving adulthood. May God continue to Bless you and your family. Lord knows ya'll deserve it!!!

The Disney campground is called Fort Wilderness. I think one of the Areas @ The Magic Kingdom us called Frontier Land. I have not been to the Disney parks for a long time despite the fact I live near St Petersburg FL.

Congrats on getting your camper !!!! We have a rv snd I love it . U asked about food I cook up like spegehti sauce snd chili and sausage and bacon snd I make bisquits and egg salad snd tuna salad and have what ever prep on my meals I can have done and it really works for us . We grill out also !

Yes that way it’s not time assuming to prepare a meal so that I can enjoy our camping too ! So I cook up what I can have prepared in advance and like the spegehti sauce tgen all I have to do is cook the noodles and heat some rolls and the sausage and bisquits are done I just cook the eggs or have frozen waffles or make pancakes . Also I take my crockpot along . Hope that helps u out some !

Congrats to you and Hannah on your new campers. This looked like this was recently posted within the past few hours. From other vlogs You had moved into Baddaddy's place. Sounds Like things changed. Sorry that did not work out. I do not mean any disrespect. Knowing Jess loves all or most things Disney. (I remember from your vlog she did mot like the Rise Of The Resistance ride @ Hollywood Studios) I am thinking you will spend time @ Disney's Ft Wilderness with your and Hannah's campers. Re camping recipes you can cut up some steak,chicken breasts or thighs and veggies and add some seasonings and wrap them in foil and cook them on your open camp fire. I have what they called a Tonka toaster when I got it. It is made of cast iron and has long handles. Check the Sporting Goods section of your local Walmart. You butter a slice of bread and put the buttered side on the outside. You can add pizza stuff,pie filling,cheeses,peanut butter and jelly or what ever you want then take a 2nd slice of bread and butter it placing the buttered on the outside like you did with the first one. Close the cooker and lock the clip And place it in the campfire. I made these toaster pies on my camping trips in High School as a member of the. Hoffman Estates High School Outdoor Adventurer Club in Hoffman Estates Illinois. The club was backed by a teacher @ the school. We did many neat trips including canoeing,camping,climbing and rapelling,cross country skiing,Winter tubing and other things. Glad Jessica and you and Hannah really like the campers. Great hidden storage behind the TV.

When doing the foil packets add a little water or broth to keep it moist. Cooking in the toil packets cuts your dishwashing down a lot as you do not have pots and pans to clean. Use heavy duty foil.when making the packets.

Ohhhh, I hope yall travel to Disney world and stay at Fort Wilderness. That's where my parents would take us every summer. We loved camping there! We would take a small boat over to Disney. The Disney parade is lights on the water from the beach at the campground. Ohhh can't wait to watch all your adventures!!
