i am not able to understand what 'version' means. You mean is it like software version or something else???, I am really confused with this concept. Could you please explain this for me?

we have multiple API versions on Kubernetes. while creating objects on Kubernetes we should tell which API version are we using. that's the reason we should mention "apiverison". You can find more details here. kubernetes.io/docs/reference/using-api/
