Latín American here; I am so jealous at the USA that they get to have people like your family over there, instead of here with us. It makes me angry that our messed up governments don’t provide the opportunities that would have made your family be able to stay in LatAm and contribute towards our society. - Excelente discurso, felicidades a ti y a tus papas. Me inspiras a trabajar duro de este lado de la frontera para que esas oportunidades que tus padres fueron a buscar a USA las tengamos en Mexico, y en Latinoamérica en general. ❤️

Mexicans, Haitians and People from the Carribbean are the hardest working people but yet they get deported. They don't just sit around and wait for anything to be given to them or feel privileged. This president got it wrong and I pray everyone go out there in vote for change.

What an amazing young woman, I loved her speech and am so proud of how she expressed herself without her voice cracking. We sure don't appreciate all the efforts our parent's give us by all the blood, sweat and tears, so that we can have a better life. No doubt she will go on and have a wonderful life for herself because of all the hard work getting an education takes. I cried listening to her recognizing her mother and everyone's parent's.

@@lm2194 OfCourse she would not say "illegal" but the likelihood that she is the daughter of illegal immigrants is high. Some of the qualifications of migrating to any country is that you have a skill, education and or money. Her parents who even though are hardworking and have done well for their daughter would not have been able to LEGALLY migrate using the LEGAL process.
