Well, they are bad in most of the western EU. Taxes are not always the most important thing in the world.

I have lived in Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga and now València and I can honestly say that for me personally València has the best quality of life :)

Nice to hear. How is it compared to Madrid/Barcelona? I wanted to spend in those two cities more. Slower rythm of life?
@eldritch_sorcerer5 ай бұрын
@@dpashutskii definitely much slower and calmer, lots of green spaces, people enjoy the outdoors and you never feel overwhelmed by crowds (well, apart of the Fallas festival hahaha). From the big 2, I prefer Madrid though. Barcelona is beautiful but too crowded and hectic for my liking :)

Nice video :) I've been to Valencia and a bunch of other Spanish cities, also lived for 2 years in Tenerife (Canary Islands). Tenerife was nice, I've also liked Valencia and most of all Fuerteventura. I eventually left because prices were rising and taxes weren't that good imo. Sure they're better than many other places in the EU, but they're still too high imo. Housing prices have also gone crazy

Yeah, prices were a huge surprise to me in Valencia. The rent is almost to the level of the small cities in the Netherlands. Tenerife is on my list for visit for sure!

How much is monthly rent in there?
@dpashutskii7 ай бұрын
I am not sure how much long-term rent but we rented Airbnb for €1700 per month. Not cheap at all. I think long-term maybe €1300-€1500. The rent is skyrocketed in Valencia in the recent years.

Valencia is just like Amsterdam an expensive place to be. Those are literally the more expensive cities you can search a place
