The CD insert does give full credit to Schubert for composing the Kupelweiser Waltz (stated in German and in English). It also relates the story that Schubert actually never wrote it down, and that it was later written down by descendants of an attendee to the Kupelweiser wedding who had heard it there. Schubert had composed it for the wedding of Kupelweiser who was a friend of his, and presumably Schubert himself played it at the event.
