I always hear that cotton floss is so good. But I actually like the feel of polyester embroidery floss so much more, it is way softer and most of the times also sturdyer and you kan just burn the ends so they melt and don't go anywhere. And to be fair I have tryed DMC but even the ceap china polyester thread that you can buy in bulk I like way more. And you get so much more strings You can even find big spools with hundreds of meters of one color. That's very handy for colors you use often like black and white

Do you have a slow version of this as I would like to follow along to create it? Also what dmc colors did you and and how much string did you use for each color? What is the length of the back strings is the white ones?
@mochixgacha57554 жыл бұрын
I have a question. If you have 86 rows how long should the base strings be? Edit: I wanted to know since I wanna do an 86 row pattern
@mela34114 жыл бұрын
It depends completely on how tight you make your knots. But I would cut them the span from the tips of your fingers to your elbow. That's how I usually cut them and I always have a lot of excess string. So I think for a longer bracelet it would work just fine. 😊

Man I always want to make my knots more loose since I prefer wearing bracelets that aren't that sniff but I just can't make loose knots and not have that mess up the entire bracelet because of the previous knot moving as I'm tying the next one, since it's so loose. Or in diamonds and stuff loose knots end up having these gaps that look like there's a knot and straight string on both sides of it. Ugh how do people make these loosely knotted bracelets hahahaha
@MashaKnots4 жыл бұрын
Honestly no idea, when i try to make my knots looser they all end up different sizes. The only way I get consistency is by tying them all real tight. But different people do it their own way

Great video as always! 💜 2:46 whaat?!! How thick is the thread you're using? 😆 My bracelets are always at least 100 rows. Actually, 110 minimum. My thread is 1 mm thick. And 110 is barely 12 cm. Wow! What a difference! Gorgeous bracelet, tho! 💞
@MashaKnots4 жыл бұрын
I use regular embroidery floss! It consists of 6 strands of thread. I don’t know what the thickness is (can’t check right now) but I’m guessing something like 2mm? Definitely more than 1
