Your restrap instructions just saved my sanity! Just finished restrapping my new sugar coconut. It came really tight and foxy said to buy a new restrap kit. So I decided to restrap and it wasn’t long enough so used the extra jump band as an extension.

You should show us how you print on vellum and acetate. Honestly I never know the difference between the two cause on camera they look the same. Also if you could show us how you foil stuff that would be awesome!!

Acetate is a clear plastic and vellum is a semitransparent paper. They both print like any other paper 👍🏼

Not specifically. Best piece of advice though is to buy paper intended for the printer you have. Laser paper for laser printers and inkjet for inkjet printers. That was a helpful tip I discovered when I first got my laser printer :)

I'm curious how the foiling machine works. Could you do a video on that? (Perhaps showing how you made your tabs?) I saw that the machine works with toner, so do you have to print the color first on a inkjet and then print what you want to be foiled with a laser printer?

Probably won’t do a video on it since I don’t feel I’m much of an expert on it. I think it only sticks to black ink so I’m guessing you could print color and black together but I’m not sure. My laser printer is only b/w so I haven’t tried that before

Love, this was beautiful! I absolutely loved it! I definitely loved the walk through, the chattier the better in my eyes! However, I need to ask...I have been wanting to get a foxy fix but I am unsure of how many weeklies you keep in your TN from setup to setup. Do you keep passed weeks in it throughout the year or do you only keep a few months at a time? If so, do you keep them or toss them? That is my only hesitation of buying because I enjoy having the whole year together and then once the year is complete I keep it as a memory keeper (my monthly notes pages are filled with picture throughout the month)! Hopefully this makes sense... love you and your videos!!

I like the setup of this video the best! Your setups are always so gorgeous! Instead of putting a lobster clasp on the SG bow, why don’t you just clip them together? I notice with my TN clasps mark up the leather. (I have a couple different sugar leathers & a boss babe)

I often don’t keep charms on my planners for that reason which I’ve mentioned before since I take my planner with me to work and back. It’s not just the clasps, even the charms themselves can leave dents in certain leathers. I also switch up which ones I have on the front so a lobster clasp will give me the versatility I need when I want a charm on the front :)

Follow-up question: Are the elastics you lace into the books re-usable? For instance if you use a green one for March and take it out to replace with something else, can you re-use that green one in December for Christmas or because you've snipped the ends, is that impossible?

Ideally they are but of course the more you cut, the tighter they will be the next time around and eventually will get too small after more than one or so uses. I think the best way to save and reuse these is to leave extra string sticking out next to the knot and not trim as closely. Then when you remove the elastics, unknot instead of cutting it off. Probably the safer bet!
