Yes we have lost that joy! I miss it I was just reminiscing a few days ago how I lost my joy many years ago when I lost my husband 21 yrs ago, life with 2 kids got so busy for a single parent. I just wanted to say that the moment Pastor Sarah talked about joy, I had a flashback of the moment when I lost my joy. I was 15. I’m 29 now. It’s been 14 years. In the last 24 hours, I feel like God has been telling me that he wants to restore my joy. I’m hopeful, but idk what that’ll look like if it does happen.
