I've owned one and had some great times and holidays in a c15. They are rust buckets, but if you have the skills to keep on top of the rust , welding etc they are quirky and fun campervans. They will go up in value, The french were really impressed when I had mine because it's made in France when I holidayed in France in it. They will be a french motor classic and collectable in the future because if you get a good one. There won't be many left. Just my opinion. Have fun I did in mine.

I will say one thing about GB driver's.They look after their motor's. The really good responsible driver's are meticulous in keeping records, especially service records, MOTs etc etc. I would definitely buy a car of a Brit 🤝 , 👊☘️

Hi there my neighbour where i live has one of these and loves it , He has a flat but when he wants to get away for a break out of the rat race he parks his up in Scotland for a few weeks and has a great time , only downside is its too small for a shower but at the site where he camps they have shower and toilet facilites only like £10 a night up there so yeah a very good buy and i think the engine is non turbo so thats a bonus and probably why these old Romahomes are still on UK roads.

I had one of these they have a problem with the back wheels they tend to fall off, a friend of mine had one and all the wheels fell off his, so just check the wheels if you buy one.

How is that possible ? Is it like the Fiat 500 issue where the rear subframe rusts ?

I drove mine for 460,000 km and wheels never fell off

@@DavidHenson-ew5yz Maybe rust was holding the bolts in ? As ive seen it happen , used to have a 1995 Citroen ZX and it only cost me £300 when it failed an MOT they said rust was holding the wheels on as the bolts were seized , they had to use a welding torch to heat the metal to remove them lol

​@christineayres7199 No rust at all and a daily driver maintained by myself. The wheels just never fell off. I've never had wheels fall off any car, ever. Perhaps those that do haven't tightened bolts to the correct torque.

It went for £7,500 .Seems a lot for a 30 year old small camper .In good condition though no doubt.
