@@SloppyJoesPodcast Obviously never been in a proper kitchen then. ;-) Everything tall Joe said was correct. Wood (more specifically hardwood oo-er mrs) is a natural killer of bad stuff ;-) Look at butchers' blocks. All end grain wood. Only reason to use plastic boards is because they are cheap and/or lazy. Wood boards do need taking care of occasionally. By oiling (mineral) mostly.
