Wow! Excellent! You are serious about the Rockstud Spike! I used to think this bag was so ugly! 🤣😂 Now, I find myself so intrigued with it that I purchased the black crackle, in medium! Then, I happened to find a black crackle guitar strap! I ordered both yesterday! I felt like it was “meant to be” because I’m uncertain if I’d be able to locate another guitar strap to complement the crackle bag. Thank you for sharing your collection it’s absolutely breathtaking! The colors are just perfect!💐💐💐 This is 2022, do you still have all your Rockstuds???

Great review! I saw the medium bag at Neiman Marcus today and fell in love with it immediately. However, I feel it's a bit small so I decided to check the Valentino website and discovered the larger size. It's available in beige, red and fuchsia. Any color suggestions? I also went to Chanel today and I think this beats the flap bag hands down.

Thank you so much for the review. I LOVE my medium spike bag in poudre so much that I gave just ordered it in black crackled lamb.... What do you think of the crackled lamb? I thought that the black in nappa looked a bit shiny for day and night so I went for crackled... but then I didn't have a choice because the dept store in oz only had the black in crackled lamb.

Kaylene, great review. Question-with items inside the bag and when carrying with the top handle, do you think that over time, the small leather piece that holds the rings and the top handle will tear? It's a lot of weight for a small piece of leather to hold... that's my concern with this bag. Thanks for your input.

S Na I think that would only be a concern with the large bag, if at all. My experience in luxury retail is that you have a 1 year warranty with designer handbag purchases (I know this is true with Saks, for example). If that bag was going to rip, it would probably be during that time which you would have the peace of mind that you have that warranty. Since selling this bag, I've never had a complaint with the craftsmanship. But if you are concerned, buy from a reputable source that backs the purchase!

Doc P for a smooth leather bag, I find it very durable. I’m not sure if you have seen the smooth lamb leather of Chanel but this is a lot more durable. I think this is because it is quilted with micro studs so I think it gives the bag more body and takes up some of the surface area. In terms of the actual bag, it does keep its shape!

Kaylene Legario I travel alot for work and wonder if the large black size would be better. Would the studs tarnish from rain?

Doc P the rock studs are pretty durable! I wouldn’t recommend keeping the bag in a rainstorm but I think it would be fine if the micostuds get a little wet!

hi! have u had any problems with the studs coming off. i read a review on it that this was a problem. i never thought that would be a problem since the studs seem to be so secure on them.

Kaylene Legario I'm still not sure about the size! I got a valentino spike strap for the bag! The bag is small just the necessary things can fit inside ! So I guess this is more evening bag ! Now I think maybe I should get the large one!

Yes, the medium can be for a small everyday bag or great for evening. The large is really more for everyday! You can get the large one through my store at stores.saks.com/kaylene

If I were you, I'd go for the medium! The large is quite large and you are right, it is awkward cross body!
