Had he left Marquez alone in Sepang and kept his mouth shut, there's a pretty good chance he would be 2015 World Champion. Hopefully next year he'll shut up and race.

Valentino is not perfect, but at least he had always been honest with them. ps. I'm Italian so I might be biased

+Andrea Scanferlini First of all, what happened in Sepang was NOT a mistake. Rossi intentionally broke the rules because he was angry with Marquez. This is a fact; and it's why Race Direction penalized Rossi. Secondly, you are correct in asserting that your interpretation of Marquez's actions are your BELIEFS. We cannot know for sure. After all, if Marquez was acting as Lorenzo's "bodyguard", then why did Marquez beat him at Phillip Island and take away 5 championship points? It doesn't make any sense. You see Andrea, I get it. You're Italian, Rossi's Italian; there's national pride at stake and so on. But just because Rossi tells everyone what he thinks Marquez is doing or not doing, does not make it true. I have watched this season's races many times, and I just don't see that Marquez is doing anything rather than try to win. And by the way in the interest of fairness, the move Marquez tried to make on Valentino at the end of Assen this year was way off base in my opinion, and I disagree with him that he should have won that race. I am a fan of MotoGP racing, not any single rider, and it is too bad that Rossi has chosen to air his grievances publicly. Having said that, Rossi is a great racer and I can't wait for the 2016 season!

Valentino Rossi is Italian, the people you mentioned as examples are not Italian, they are part of completely different cultures. Here in Italy, gays have never had to do the things they had to do in England or other Anglo-Saxon countries to stay alive. I live in the same area of Italy as Valentino, I grew up here, like him, in his own culture, breathing the same air. I know what I'm talking about a lot more than you, who probably don't even understand what he says when he speaks his language. Rossi is a bit eccentric, his father Graziano is also a bit eccentric, this doesn't mean being gay / bisexual / trisexual, and above all it doesn't mean hiding their true nature.
