Rob very good promotion of online high school. I'm baffled as 98% of what I studied I have never used in my life as an entrepreneur. What the purpose of seeking higher education spending thousands of rands and taking loans to pay fees. By the time one finds a job which ever increasingly difficult, you starting with a debt and just can't cope. There are no guarantees and it is exascerbated by the high rising costs of living, state capture and the list goes on and on.

Uct is not the first online high school in Africa. Bridge online high school started in 1995 and Syllabis is another

A very disingenuous interview. Go to their website and have a look at all the exclusionary criteria. The cut off age is 20. I would have liked to enroll an employee to help further their education but sadly this is aimed at a certain age group and demographic. It’s more aimed at UCT employees and employee’s children. So, as much as this Valenture guy keeps spinning the marketing speak, it’s empty words. Deeply disturbing and disappointing.

How is this difference to all the other online platforms ie Think Digital College, Teneo. Your fees are double?

Why not develop students from high school immediately into entrepreneurs. Why must they finish 5 years of high school then go to university? Our children these days are academically equipped to start learning university concepts from age 16 as proven all over the world. We are stooped in the old ways. What a waste of money and immense stress for parents slogging to make universities richer year in year out. Capitalism train

Look at the costs and exclusivity of it. Almost exploiting education system.
