Valerie Bertinelli is celebrating the single life! One year after filing for legal separation, the actress is officially divorced from Tom Vitale. On her Instagram Story, Valerie revealed the news from an airport terminal sharing, 'The papers were all signed. They are about to be filed.' She added, 'On 11/22/22, I am officially f**king divorced! Happily divorced.'

I am not sure, I recall a few years back, it seems like he was the ideal 2nd hubby. But who knows what goes on behind the scenes. I have read reports of her taking Eddie's demise hard. That may have played a part in their marriage crumbling. IMO, celebrating her divorce online is insensitive and rude, unless Tom was a real jerk.

It's fantastic that she's happy. Although one would say, that her constant talking about her supposedly narcissist ex would be a red flag for a therapist. To be fair, how do we know that it was 100% her exes (plural) fault in both cases. Valerie can complain to her family and friends about how her exes treated her (i.e. Eddie slept with others), but let's be fair and don't bad mouth them to the public. How is that fair? It's not like her recent ex can go out in the media and give his side as she is the "star." Is it revenge? It just isn't cool. To talk about Eddie that he was her soulmate, etc. I'm sure his widow isn't feeling all rainbows and unicorns over that.

After getting married they were at a friend's house and he heard her say to her sister--if David was still alive Mike wouldn't be here. My friend was furious--it was never the same between the two of them and the marriage ended shortly thereafter

I used to like her, but she has issues. She doesn't know what she wants. Interviews I have seen with her emotional breakdowns are ridiculous. Her book too. She hasn't had it too bad, but wants us to think she has. Get some help Valerie. I think life has been better for you than most with real problems. Cutesy Barbara Cooper was a character. Some people think Valerie is cute and innocent like her characters. She was a bully in high school. She cheated on Eddie Van Halen. She did drugs. She disregards Eddie Van Halen's widow Janie. She is a bad example to her only child. She filed divorce papers on Thanksgiving day for Tom.
