I heard her for the first time on NPR a couple years ago. Just listening to her talk about how much she loved the acoustic guitar I was already interested. Then they played this song and 30 seconds in I was calling my girlfriend, "Oh my god. write this name down. Valerie June. Yes Valerie with a V June. Please don't let me forget that name. Google it you'll see what I'm talking about!" LOL
