I think a non-elimination season is good because it could benefit the queens to learn from every single mission each episode. And also, each of them could showcase what they can from then, and that is good for us viewers as well to be entertained from each of them (since we all have our own biases) and learn more about what drag is.

From what I've read and Heidi in closet has even partially confirmed this on the platform x that each Queen received 50 to 75,000 as an appearance fee (one report says they were given $50,000 and another report says they were given 75,000) and they were given $25,000 as a stipend for their wardrobe.

My top two after watching both episodes is also roxxxy and plastique. Plastique is EATING. And lets just make it clear, i didnt go into this season particularly caring for what plastique gives but wow she has made such a good impression so far. Lets see what comes from the comedy and acting challenges. But since you asked for a wild card, I am really surprised with shannel so far I think her runways have been really good so far and very polished. She had my fave perfume look with that red and sequin thing i was gagged.

I love the non-elimination format. Every queen gets a chance to show many facets of themselves and we get to see them in a low-pressure environment. In the elimination format we always see the queens under constant stress to either win or be eliminated. You also see queens spend literal thousands of dollars on packages and only get a handful highlighted on TV. There's also the built-in bias against queens who don't place as well. In non-elimination the queens get to enjoy themselves, cut loose and take risks. I thought AS7 was the best All-Stars yet for those reasons.

I believed the no elimination is valid in this season because of the charity, that could give more chances for the girls to earn for their charities. The top 2, I agree with it although I want Plastique to win too however stage presences wise Jorgeus really did a good job on the challenge and on the runway My God Plastique ate that up. This season premiere being free on Paramount+ basically was the deciding factor on whether or not I was paying for the rest of the season. Also I love this format. I hope they keep the non eliminations for All Stars and give the girls a stipend for runways. Most of the best girls keep saying no to coming back cause what's the point? Spend thousands on a package just to possibly go home earlier than they did the first time and not even get to show? Pass. Keep the eliminations for regular seasons. Non elimination gets better queens. Plus a lot of girls say no because they're not wanting to have to send a friend home crushing their dreams and ruining their relationship. Don't put that on the girls. Judging is the judges job imo. Not the contestants 🤷🏼‍♂️

SOOOO….🪭 After watching this, I HAVE to give MY two cents: 1. Entrance: Gyrrrrllll, you KNOW that the Stunt Queens made that bobby pin jacket for Vanjie. They TRIED to set some of the girls up (that flying bobby pin projectile slo-mo was PRICELESS). #SABOTAGE 🪭🫣🤭🤭 2. Mini Challenge: The reading challenge was really good. IMO, Roxxxy was good but I thought Nina was better. 3. Maxi Challenge: Jorgeous got bonus points for choreographing the anthem. She gave energy and charisma along with Angeria. Everyone had great lyrics for the most part, but my standouts were Jorgeous, Angeria, Plastique and Nina. 4. Runway: As a Midwest guy with Southern roots, I LIVED for Angeria’s runway. Plastique and Shannel had me GAGGED with their lewks. Nina was REALLY good as well as Jorgeous. About Ms. Vanjie…I actually enjoyed it. At LEAST she stayed on brand…🪭🫣🤭🤭 5. Outcome: First off, as far as an ALL STARS season goes, I actually PREFER the non-elimination format. It allows the girls to perform and relax a bit without the stress of the elimination process (which is usually out of their control, anyway). Second, The Ruby Snippers 👠✂️is a MUCH better foil than the Platinum Plunger 🩶🪠 from AS7, IMO. 🪭🫣🤭🤭 Third, I agreed with the outcome. I agree with you that Plastique should have been the Top 2. Nina…not so much.🪭😏🤭🤭 I’m looking forward to this season and I can not WAIT to see how THIS turns out. 🪭🧐😁
