It's interesting how the comic and the animated version differs in some aspects. In the comic, it's not revealed that Logi ate the trough until Loke made it to the string, thus losing because "he didn't finish". In this version Logi starts eating the through because he has run out of food, as if to further rub Loki's face in. Honestly, nothing wrong with either version, just different comedic beats.

@@johnprotagonist7296 Eeeh, just based off the stuff he'd done in this movie prior to this part (tricking Þjálfi into breaking Tanngrisnir's leg, coaxing his parents into letting them take him as a servant, telling Thor he will clean the house then making Þjálfi and Röskva do it, and then making another mess after they spent all night cleaning and telling them to clean it again) I would hesitate to cheer for him.
