@okiemach cop out answer. Turtle meta fighting games are boring and push out casual players at anything above entry level. I was top 1% in the world on For Honor both before and after the turtle meta, and can say without a doubt that the playerbase as a whole benefitted from the change except the very top of the board. Flights were more involved and frantic, the match pace got faster, and there were far fewer frustrating ganks in 4v4 after the change. If you want counter play, do something turn based and leave it out of fgc

As a noob, hammers team r really good with the cons of fighting scythe on 1v1, notice the only scythe that wasn't passive was Kam, all others just waited for the hammer to attack since they r slow and if they miss its a secure combo (unlike scythe). Still very good final fight

i am a hammer main i gotta tell you... its just worth it. 1 if you hit it, your opponent gets send down like 20 meters. 2 if you dont hit, u fly by and most opponents might dodge it but wont punish it. then u got a free chance on hammer greatest move: the recovery. I dont do it that much but more with hammer then with other weapons bc it just makes sense.
