I would like to add that from burial chambers you may find an altar which gives you the location of the elder.

Nothing about the blueberries? They're the main reason to go in for me lol. Also, burial chambers can have the larger green skeletons and ghosts on occasion.

This biome is really punishing for me at the start because a gang of graydwarves just straight up ganked me when I was building a house there. Also, their HP is quite a lot for someone with a level 1 wooden club :(

thank you very much ! It is a great idea to make your guide tips about all biomes. I am playing but I feel still like a baby in the woods (literally). I kinda lost because after meadows biome I was wondering how to do mountains (lol). Now It seems logic to me. You should upload your movies in a chronological way to do for newbie player like me. I like the way how you show it. Now I know what to do and I don't see any spoiler from you :D it's perfect and I know that I will not loose immersion of the game. Now when I kill 3 trolls and make some armor the black forest is not hard an scary anymore :D

Best you can get is Leather Armor. Unless you've run into and managed to kill a few trolls (they can wander out of the Black Forest sometimes) in which case you can have troll leather, which is actually really good for a while. I'd recommend Stagbreaker, a shield, a bow and lots of arrows.

Depending on armor they might one shot you, so that's the way to do it! :)

I see spots that are highlighted with tiny blue glowing orbs. They seem to appear at random and last for a random short period of time, from 1 to 5 minutes or so. I've dug down a little and explored the area, but can't find anything. Are they just a beautification graphic or do they mean something?

Ummm there is a plant that has a slight blue glow. A thistle if I recall... but doesn't sound like what you're referring too. I think it's just environmental tbh.

Black forest summary: Enemies hyper-spawn ensuring you are literally NEVER allowed to rest, trolls stalk you relentlessly, and thedungeons are ridiculous. Ever think devs lije this consider 90% of the player bases ARE too stupid to resource-hoard in case things go south as they often ALWAYS do at this stage for most? you lose your equipment here you better off quitting
