Yeah, Ashlands is a bit of a hot mess for sure. I want to learn all Fader's moves but I'm going to have to cheeseball him for a while to do that. I think the main legitimate beef is the invisible respawn rate, and so freaking much debris all the time that lag is way of life with just a couple players. The developers pushed the biome so far ahead, it's like the final biome, but wait there's still one to go. The new environmental dangers on top of all is just wearing players out or they are packing their bags and jumping ship or at the very least, not giving the players a very satisfying experience. It's like can we just get to the end already, I've killed 9 morgens in two days in the same area, jeezus! What they should have done I think is front load the visible spawners and increase the spawn rate at them while they are active, make it a battle royal, but then when they are gone, back to the previous biome protocols, couple here and there, more if ya make noise and even more at night; that balance and expectation has worked really well I think, and with the added environmental dangers, that's plenty.

Yeah, I agree with most of this. It definitely feels like they went too hard on AL and haven’t left enough wiggle room for the North. The spawn rate is ridiculous, the enemies punch hard, and getting from A to B is a slog, more so than even Mistlands. I’ll play the North when it releases, but I’m a bit worried how it will turn out now.

The power is an interesting one but not overly practical at the moment. Perhaps you’re right and it’ll come in handy for the North biome.

Maybe you could have used the harpoon to drag him into the arena? Possibly? A moot point now.

The harpoon option was allegedly patched out for the bosses. Will need to check on that at some point, I think. I know people were dragging Yagluth about, dropping him in pits to have an easier go at it and I reckon devs did not approve of that.

Well, that was certainly one hell of a fight whatever strategy was taken! Congrats! Can appreciate that you are very likely done with Ashlands, but would also say there are as yet undiscovered mysteries there… but do appreciate you might just not care at this point 😂😂
