I love a walkable roof, it's always so handy! And the big screen TV is brilliant 🤣 Swamp building is going to be super fun, I'm looking forward to see what you come up with. As for hotbar loadout: 1: Secondary/specialty melee (most of the game it's a sledge) 2: Shield 3: Primary melee 4: Bow 5: Axe 6: Pickaxe 7: Hoe 8: Hammer I never have food or potions on my hotbar or I'll use them stupidly 😆 Every now and again I'll loadout with less but...I've gotten myself into some Situations™ and learned that I work best with a full complement of gear!

Haha, yay, I'm glad others found the tv to be fun. Nice setup! I hear you, i never really put potions or food up there either, i always just pop into the menu to use whatever. Lol

You could tuck the bed in right behind the couch, though I don't know if you'd get comfort there until you can swap the three little fires for a hearth. My big A-frame hall at Berryton turned out to be the absolute perfect size for a hearth to cover it.

2:25 1 melee weapon / Hammer 2 shield 3 bow 4 pickaxe 5 health pot 6 stam pot/mead 7/8 (no real set thing) generally depends.... really hard to say one particular setup, especially with mods this can change quite a bit...

yet to watch the entire thing, and I'm late to the party, I know, but to answer your hot keys thing: 1) hammer 2) bow 3) axe 4) variable - currently hoe 5) variable - currently stagbraker 6) variable - currently pickaxe 7) Sword 8) Shield 1-3 and 7/8 are consistent, always, so I know what key to reach for when Something Goes T**s Up (as it inevitably does). the variable ones are for things like if I'm doing a lot of farm work, I might swap out the hoe for the cultivator, or use different weapons as appropriate to the biome I'm working in. ATM that's venturing into the swamps and the crypts (Found one - with bonemass, no less!) so this is what works for me at this point. But about to go back in, so will be making iron stuff - so it may all change!

Great build, I love how you tackle an awkward shaped roof and make it work, gives us all that confidence to try it ourselves :) My hotkeys: 1. Weapon 2. Shield 3. Bow 4. Hammer 5. Axe 6. Pickaxe 7. Potion (Health) 8. Potion (Stam) The Hoe sits in my bag and I use it in a potion slot as and when I need it, I also swap different weapons in 1. (Mace/Sword). We definitely need more bag space in Valheim ;)

Cross beams prevent smoke from escaping so if you want a little shadows in your builds it would be a brightness modifier indoors Also underhanging a bed below the edge would look nice

@@HiccupTheHermit Yeah! When my friend and I play, we hop in and out of biomes so frequently that I need to switch weapons more often than I need easy access to food or potions. Gotta have the axe and hammer handy because we build everywhere we go. I'm good at long range sniping so I need that bow handy at all times, and the rest of the weapons depend on what we're fighting. Plus, you gotta have that hoe on hand! Just like the Tiny Hut spell in DnD, it's WAY more useful in weird situations than you might think 😂

Foxy Hotkeys: 1. Mace/Atgeir 2. Axe 3. Hammer (I always put the hammer on the 3 key in all building games for some reason) 4. Pickaxe 5. Hoe 6-8. Stamina foods No shield. I just run when things get bad (hence the stamina foods).

"Food is Good!" Gauntlet Legends reference?

It's actually just something I say whenever anyone asks me if I "like" any particular food. I'll eat anything, so I always would just say, "Food is good." What's it mean in Gauntlet? I assume food heals? I played Gauntlet in the arcades when I was younger. but that was my only experience with it.

Alas, the mighty Lox Sigurd has fallen to three Fulings. His name lives on, however. For my loadout: 1 = Hammer 2 = Axe 3 = Primary weapon 4 = Shield 5 = Bow 6 = Pickaxe (or seondary weapon) 7 = Hoe (or secondary weapon/potion) 8 = Potion, or Cultivator when relevant

Oh NO! Poor Sigurd! I swear Lox need some armor or something. As pets and steeds, they are pretty fragile, in my opinion, compared to their wild counterparts. lol Nice setup! Hammer on the 1! always ready to build!
