Looks really good. I do definitely agree about the corners. they could have simply applied the Ash texture to the old corners and resolved the issue with not actually being able to build an actual corner. they also need a 1x2 that would help immensely.

thanks man this helps alot i was so confused! one thing i would like for this game is a hotbar for when you are building things so you dont have to spend ao much time in thw building menu

Mate, I feel the same, I'd love more options. FOr instance, external corners (o-type corners just like the wooden roof). Because now, we only have this i-type corner. So everytime we need to do a corner, it's exactly how you showed; we need to breakdown into i-type corners and leave this gap (yeah, eventually we cover with tiragle shaped walls). But, yeah mate, I feel you. It's lacking a finishing with an external corner roof only.

Sad to see its the same in beta as release.. I'm sure there would of been players mentioning having the previous corner roof tiles, god the valheim devs make some odd choices

They didn't finish making the build pieces, they only have inside corner roof options and no outside corner...

I think they'll add more in between now and the Deep North update - a kind of Hearth and Home 2 update.

When youre inside looking at the roof pieces, the gaps inbetween each piece makes it look crappy. I wish theyd sit flush like a wood roof

Someone please explain to me why new building pieces are hd from a mod someone did instead of something new from them like the "old" pieces ? i don't get it, please if someone can explain to me i would be so grateful

I definitely think Mistlands is more “aesthetically pleasing” prettier. Ashlands more grimy looks like bunker kinda. The roofing is complicated for sure

no 26 pieces, no roof ridge makes it limited to build with this roof, sad to say.

I wont build with this as its not user friendly nor does it give the player the flexablity to build how they want. I do love the look of the roof and ceiling but again, its not user friendly.

I'm definitely not a fan of the roof and arches. They're good to accent walls to give it some dimensions, but the roof pieces are bad

Very poor design choice by the devs with these roof pieces. I look forward to someone releasing a mod that shows the dev's how to do them properly.

it looks clumsy and ugly with no thought to it. With the amount of time they had for this expansion, it is inexcusable. Highly disappointed with the lack of build pieces in a game that touts a building side to it. I do not see how this passed the smell test with IG.

They had so much time. It sucks how long Valheim updates take to just be not as good as they should.

Because they don’t care about building. They literally don’t want you to build anything. They want an adventure game and hate that they added building. This is stuff I confirmed talking to the devs in discord, the building is an afterthought to them. They’re idiots really, because it’s the only reason this game is great
