I dropped my wife off at the army recruiting station about 5 months ago (she’s always wanted to join the military and we have been having financial struggles), I found this song shortly after, it made me miss her so much, it made me think about how lucky I am to have her in my life, it made me think about everything we have been through, It made me remember the first time I talked to her in the high school library and how scared and excited I was at the same time (I was the creepy kid in the black hoody that didn’t have any friends or talk to anyone). I joined the Marine Corps right out of high school, we got married two years later, we have two boys now and have been married for 6 years. I’m not sure why I just told my life story, I’m proud of it, and I want it to be written somewhere maybe idk. In my mind we only have one life, she is what my life revolves around and the reason I am truly happy. Don’t forget the beginning, the reason you are together now, you fell in love, you were young and nothing else mattered except each other, you wanted to do whatever you could to make them happy, and would do whatever you could to make them feel better when they weren’t, with time and stress from everything in the world around us we forget these things. I hope whoever read this was old like me cause then it would probably make more sense, cause I’m old now. Life is a bitch and beautiful at the same time, it will go by so fast.
