Had our original LG washer/dryer for 20 years. Never a problem. Dryer is finally giving out so we’ll be replacing with new LG set.

I got sooooooo emotional drain out choosing and purchasing the right washing machine that meet all my requirements from a merchant who can provide a good service. That's when I learnt my lesson, not to do anything to please others. I will never repeat the mistake again. Thanks for the lesson.

This planned obsolescence really bums me out. The last dryer that I bought brand new has only lasted me three years nearly $1000 same with the washer. It has lasted me about four years.

What about Speed Queen? My 39 year old Maytag has still never had a service call. As you know the new Maytags are made by whirlpool and they will not last like the old ones.

Ill never by LG Anything again. In short, Had a Fridge. During moving we lost a small hindge clip that keeps the door even on the fridfge when closing. Contact LG-CS, Pfff They dont mak ethat part anymore so my 1,800 fridge was toast and they sent me a $325 dollar check for a 6 month old fridge - Never again. Dont make the part anymore. The fridge was less than a year old. Yup I check locally and no spare part for that brand.

I’ve had nightmares with my LG refrigerator had to replace 3 times and with the warranty I was stuck with an LG. Switched to GE profile.

The models you listed for the Maytag were the electric and gas dryer. The washer should be the MVW6500MW. I’m also amusing you’re talking about the Electrolux EFLW7637, yes?

This ol' lady is fed up with bad engineering and bad production. In just about everything...but especially washer and dryers. Can openers. They can't even get that right most of the time. Same with crock pots. People don't remember how the old ones worked. But I do.
