AMOUNT TIME/DURATION CHANGE Here's an example operational definition of hyperactivity: "A child will be considered hyperactive if they spend 10 minutes (Time/Duration) out of their seat during the class party." Note: You could have picked another number other than 10. You could have chosen 5 minutes, 20 minutes, etc.... However, you need to be SPECIFIC! This is NOT the only way to operationally define hyperactivity. Can you think of another way to do so that doesn't involve time? If so, leave a comment and I will give you feedback (time permitting).
