Really nice, but it really needs an animation suggesting what part of lyrics is to be sung. In some parts the melody allows for different length of pauses between lines and it's easy to only realize they were meant to be shorter when in the middle of a verse, the ending note starts to play.

For some reason this feels way too fast. I’ve heard they’ve sped Les Mis up but I saw it last weekend and it did NOT seem this fast to me. I don’t know though I could be wrong

Great job creating this track. Very well done. The newer orchestrations are pretty bad compared to the original. Just when I think it's going to sound beautiful, it goes into this dreadfully quiet mode that persists for almost the entire number. The original has this lush and gorgeous-sounding string section that plays a beautiful melody that I don't understand why they removed. It definitely doesn't make the song better. I really like the orchestration in the beginning. That part sounds full and better than the original but then it goes quiet and pretty pathetic sounding. What I don't understand is why they basically took the original orchestrations and ruined them by thinning them out? They claim it's a new and improved orchestration but it absolutely is not. It's the original but ruined in many places. If they wanted to create a new one then they should've actually created a new one and not ruined the original. Just my two cents.

Hi Rick - I'm just coming back to my channel after a year of being gone, so I'm sorry for the late reply! I happen to love these orchestrations - far more than the originals, but I can understand your point of view.

Royalties needed to be paid for each performance for the old orchestrations but not for the new ones. Royalties is the main reason for all "modernization" in musical theater.
