Ahhh, didn't realize CP carries over to the next phase if you don't use it. Without doing that, and moving the tank 3 times in turn 3, A rank is impossible. Thanks. Also, from reading the comments, I didn't realize you can get special items from Aces?! Good to know! (Wish the game said something about that! >.

I'm used to playing VK4, where CP doesn't carry over. Now I know why I wasn't getting the A rank on this mission.

On here welkin arrived on the 3rd turn. When im playing he always arrives on the forth.

What will you do now? Reports or Skirmishes?

Selvaria levels -> Class trials -> Skirmishes. Probably that order anyway and if I can bothered redoing some of the stuff between 8-13 without relying on the Kar 8.

Not particularly. The OP weapons are acquired through class trials.

I hate that I had to look this up but God damn this game is so fucking hard. I was on my 6th attempt and said fuck this. It was either look this video up or put this shitty game down for good. Thanks for the tutorial. I'm not sure I'll play this one much further though. Too god damn difficult to really enjoy.

hmm I see a few things you could have done better but only by a slight margin, I think there are two foot solders you can take out before placing the three in that bunker at the start.

You killed the ace but didn't pick up his special item? WHY?

+leitmeinungsfremd Because I recorded this footage after I'd completed the mission and gotten the reward. You can only get the reward again in NG+

+leitmeinungsfremd Wait... by "pick up" do you mean run over the defeated enemy so it disappears? Because I forgot to do that and I still got the item just by killing the Ace.

+charlieblade - yep, seems like you're right about that - running over the corpse doesn't result in any additional xp or item it's just that I did not know that at the time I wrote the previous comment ;)

+charlieblade Checked the end (what I should have done the first time months ago) and it does have the seize message. Must have been thinking of something else. The only time running over a body matters is when the enemy does it to you (killing anyone who doesn't have plot armor). Knocking out the Ace is sufficient.
