@executioner_ecgbert lost to her for 3 straight hours because I was falling asleep so I wasn't completely alert. Took a nap, woke up, and beat her in 3 tries. That break really does help.

@@RealVoiceofvindication By the color of Gna lifebar she is at a lower level than Kratos. When I fought her, she had an orange lifebar which indicates that she was on par with Kratos' level. Purple would mean she is at a higher level than Kratos. I would guess he is at level 9 making him a level higher than Gna.

I am sad there is no reward for beating the game on GMGOW this time. Those shields you got in the first game were awesome. I wish Santa Monica would care for this difficulty more and give special rewards for those who beat the game like this plus beat the hardest bosses.

Playing on "give me no mercy", was stuck 2+hrs trying different builds. After watching you and switching from blades to spear and from stone wall shield to regular one, I beat it on 3rd try! It's all about speed with this one, thank you!

@@soggypixel When they start glowing (shining) it indicates that she has super armor meaning she will not flinch or stagger even if you use runic arts.

Finally beat Gná yesterday after several hours of different builds. Was experimenting on Hrolf until I found something that melted him. Then transferred that over to Gná’s fight. Haven’t tried GMGOW difficulty with her yet.

I also played the game in this difficulty, and the Last to things to do are killing her and the Berserker king, it's sad that all this difficulty is for nothing, these bosses are almost hit kill and whem they get close to their final bar of health they take no damage anymore, but after struggling and mastering them you get nothing but the chance to save the video of killing them, the game should at least have a trophy for finishing on the highest difficulty

3:10, she does the dash leading into a wing-jab unblockable attack. That dash of hers can also lead into the diagonal wing slashing combo which can be blocked but has too great of dodge it successfully. Is there any way to tell which of those two attacks her dash is going to transition into? The dash seems to have the same animation etc no matter which attack she follows up with so it just feels like a 50/50 chance you’ll anticipate the right one or take damage, which I really dislike. 😕 Please get back to me about this! I’ve already beaten her on GMGoW difficulty & got the Plat but this one issue of her moveset I cannot find a reliable solution to other than just hoping I guess correctly each time. 😞

You're refering to her far right leap from Kratos views that follows up with a unblockable jab? That's always her que when she does that. Sigrun was the same in 2018. When she does a far left leap from Kratos view she can do other things.

The wing jab always happens when she either dashes to your right (her left) or dashes away from you immediately after an attack to follow up with a jab. That's the two cues you need to look out for.

She only does the unblockable when she dodges to her left . I noticed that on my third try , then it was ez peasy

If you had hit her w sonic arrows during rage mode you could’ve filled her stun meter and taken a big chunk off her health. But hey I could never beat her on GMGoW anyway so props to you

IMPRESSIVE! For me, I got my ass beat for a good 3 hours before winning, I had a easier time with King Hrolf Kraki. That's not saying much I was getting owned by him too at first. The difference is, I didn't level all of my gear for that fight. For GNA I maxed out everything and still was getting own, I'd say she is the harder boss out of the two for me. I was avoiding guides til I beat her to see what other players did differently. I'm defiantly trying this technique in New Game+ when that comes out. My technique for this fight was actually throwing the spear at a distance and switching the the blades of chaos when in melee range. I honestly had no clue the shield was this effective, because I must have failed horribly or used the wrong one haha.

Yeah Sigrun is harder because you didnt know the mechanics. Gna uses a lot of moves that Sigrun had too. I know when to dodge and block/parry some attacks because its the same like it was with Sigrun. So thats why the fight feels easier. If you are new to God of War and do this fight before you fight Sigurn, I am sure that Gna would be just as difficult as Sigrun.

Just did this on normal last night after a solid 10-15 tries at least. Felt like in the end I was mainly stun locking her with multiple runic attacks and freya’s runic and then when out relying on the spear & spartan health boosts as about to take damage to keep me alive. 3-4 times this bitch took me out on a sliver of health lol. Felt similar to Sigrun tho so I knew with practice I’d get it, no way I was lowering difficulty ;) I can’t even imagine how brutal it is on higher ones.

Did gna get a buff on my gmgow run? She does some attacks very different. She throws those biforst beams twice, has bifrost on the sigil and soundstone attacks and bifrost on her yellow ring ground attacks too

I don't understand how people have Gna health Bar as Yellow on GMGOW mode?? I have three Level 9 Armour builds, All Weapons Level 9 and her Health bar is Orange. I'm currently On my 44th attempt at beating her on GMGOW mode, It's the final thing I have to do in the game. Losing patience but don't wanna give up on it! Wish me luck!! ✌️💪

What? you got it backwards lol. Purple is underleveld, yellow is equaled and orange lowest. GMGOW difficulty makes her yellow if your rank gear are maxed, if not nearly maxed.

If Red is a thing, then thats the lowest of the lowest. With Freya poison locust skill, it drops Valkyries stats and breaks her out of the yellow for a moment to orange till the skill wears off.

You are likely at Lv 7 (overall), GNA is level 9 --- one level higher is Orange/two levels higher is Purple/three levels or more is RED with a skull mark on the left. Yellow HP bar for Same level as you, Green HP bar for 1 level lower than you.

It’s so weird watching people play with weapons lol. From the moment I got Ludras set I never took it off for the entire game I punched everything to death including Hrolf and GNA on GMGOW. I kinda forget weapons can be used for combat I sort of exclusively used my three weapons for the puzzles they solve only lol.

You use the spear on king hrolf if you want to lower his protection faster when he gets half health the color is Grey red you use your age and blue or ice color you use blades
