Gameplay is amazing. I tried a little trick before and used it, idk if it still works. Basically when you deflect you can light than sweep them off their toes. They never expect it

5 years is a long time. you say stats so i have a feeling you are talking about the old stats system? it got removed entirely and is now replaced with the perk system you want to get your character to rep 8 ish to have legendary gear and select 3 of your favorite perks, all armor pieces have a perk and a score associated to that perk. you want the score to be 600 or higher to activate the perk. I personally like using radiant rebound rapid refresh remedy

A tip with valk. If u get a guard break you can throw them and get a free sweep. Great vid btw

very true, i typically just go for a heavy so i can continue into the rest of my offense whereas the sweep ends my chain. And both options do 24 damage. I could definitely see it being used to ledge tho and thank you

Alright, i'll assume you're real good at playing Valk. May i ask for starter tips on how to use Valk myself? I don't know if i should be aggressive or defensive or what have you.

i wouldnt say im really good with valk, Im still learning. But I will share what I know. - Have a good understanding of the moveset (heavy cancel to all guards, zone cancel to all guards, being able to dodge out of all guard and everything else) - use your all guard as something to bait out guard breaks and dodge attacks, If you watch in the video sometimes i will go into the all guard and cancel out to bait a dodge attack, sometimes ill release the full zone to stuff gb attempts, You will see a particular fight against a nobu when i just stuff all of her offense with singular lights and her gb attempts. - i think the biggest thing with valk is that you have 5 defensive tools, the all guard, crushing counters, deflect, dodge attack and a parry. make sure you mix each of these up, it can be very difficult for your opponent to bait and punish your moves if you constantly mix up which defensive tool you use, if you see your opponent trying to bg you out of all guard try going for crushing counters, if you see them just stand there try to go for a light parry, throw a heavy or go into your all guard and bash them, I find that playing valk as a counter attacker works really well, and get into the habit of delaying when you release your bash, wait to see how they react. - I also recommend watching videos and seeing how other players play valk, there is always something you can learn from different playstyles - extra tips, in anti gank situations you can crushing counter one guy and make the attack hit another, stopping both of them from hitting you, you can also use this strategy with the deflect and it will hit the guy you are locked onto not the guy you deflected. Set a glad bot to do "the pest" in training, Pick your choice of character and deflect, parry, block or do anything you want to practice and it will help you really nail the timing for light attacks and lots of zone attacks
